Civil Service 2024 Exam PPT Schedule

The Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) is a test conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in the Philippines. The exam aims to establish a Register of Eligibles (RoE) from which certification and appointment to first- and second-level positions in the government service are derived 1. The 2024 Civil Service Exam Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) schedule has been announced by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The exam will be held on March 03, 2024. The expected release of test results will be on May 12, 2024.

Except for the CSE-FSO, the CSC shall issue individual or separate examination announcements three (3) weeks before the start of each application period as indicated above. The announcement shall contain detailed information on the following areas:

1. Scope of examination;
2. Passing grade;
3. Testing centers;
4. Qualification/Admission requirements;
5. Application/Documentary requirements;
6. Where to get the application form and how to file the application;
7. Target release of test results; and
8. Resulting civil service eligibility.

Registration

To apply for the Civil Service Exam, you must personally file the application at the CSC Regional Office (CSC RO), or at any of the CSC RO’s Field Offices where you intend to take the examination 1. Here are the documents you need to apply for the Civil Service Exam, regardless of the level of exam you are taking:

• Fully accomplished application form (CS Form No. 100, revised September 2016)
• Four (4) copies of passport-sized I.D. pictures with handwritten name tags legibly showing signature over printed full name
• Original and photocopy of any of the valid ID cards accepted for the civil service exam. These are the ID accepted:
  • Driver’s License/Temporary Driver’s License (LTO O.R. must be presented together with old Driver’s License; O.R. alone is not allowed)/Student Driver’s Permit
  • Passport
  • PRC License
  • SSS I.D.
  • GSIS I.D. (UMID)
  • Voter’s I.D./Voter’s Certification
  • BIR/Taxpayer’s I.D. (ATM type/TIN card type with picture)
  • PhilHealth I.D. (must have the bearer’s name, clear picture, signature and PhilHealth number)
  • Company/Office I.D.
  • School I.D.
  • Police Clearance/Police Clearance Certificate (with picture)
  • Postal I.D.
  • Barangay I.D.
  • NBI Clearance
  • Seaman’s Book
  • HDMF Transaction I.D.
  • PWD I.D.
  • Solo Parent I.D.
  • Senior Citizen’s I.D.
  • CSC Eligibility Card (note: Implemented only beginning with the May 3, 2015 CSE-PPT)
  • Philippine Identification (PhilID) card. Based on Republic Act No. 11055 (An Act Establishing the Philippine Identification System) and Executive Order No. 162 dated 14 February 2022 (Institutionalizing the Acceptance of the Philippine Identification or Philippine Identification System Number as Sufficient Proof of Identity and Age in All Government and Private Transactions), the Philippine Identification (PhilID) card issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority shall be accepted as valid I.D. card.
• Duly accomplished Certificate of Consent
• Examination fee of PHP500

Please note that the Civil Service Exams for March and August 2024 have limited slots for applicants. To secure your spot, apply as soon as possible. The CSC Regional/Field Office may close the application process before the deadline if they reach the maximum number of applicants .
