The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on May 24, 2024, the results of the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). A total of 71,429 aspiring educators passed the board exam, with more passers recorded in the secondary level.
Highlights of the March 2024 LEPT Results:

- Elementary: 44,764
- Secondary: 85,980
- Number of Passers:
- Elementary: 20,890 (passing rate: 46.67%)
- Secondary: 50,539 (passing rate: 58.78%)
- Topnotchers: The PRC released the list of top 10 examinees for both elementary and secondary levels.
Break down by Level:
- Elementary Level: Out of 44,764 examinees, 20,890 passed the exam. Among these passers, 17,561 were first-timers, while 3,329 were repeaters.
- Secondary Level: A total of 50,539 out of 85,980 examinees passed the LET for secondary level. Of these passers, 41,787 were first-timers and 8,752 were repeaters.
This batch of new licensed professional teachers can now contribute to the growing need for educators in the Philippines.
